The Prince Polymer Lab is a research group in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology. We use synthetic polymer chemistry and self-assembly to design biodegradable, recyclable, and biomimetic polymer materials. We are developing new materials for drug delivery and tissue engineering. We are also developing new tools to address the global plastic waste crisis.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
