Dylan McQuarrie
PhD Student
Dylan is a PhD student in chemical engineering specifically focusing on polymer engineering. He completed his undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University with Honours in chemistry. His current research focuses on utilizing dynamic chemistries to investigate novel techniques for polymer recycling to help address the ongoing plastic waste crisis. In his free time Dylan enjoys watching sports, running, playing with his cats, and playing minesweeper.

Maggie Wong
PhD Student
Maggie is in her second year of a PhD in Chemical Engineering where she is working on designing a polyacrylamide hydrogel that can mimic the extracellular matrix (ECM)’s mechanoresponsive behaviour for applications in biomedicine including in vitro models of disease, drug delivery systems, and scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing badminton, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles!
